Bridles: Our bridles represent the finest in craftsmanship. A bridle is so important for your horse’s mannerisms and mood. A poorly constructed bridle, or a bridle that does not fit correctly, can ensure your horse will be unhappy and uncooperative. Example: A noseband must permit at least two fingers in the slack – anything less than two fingers will be too tight. Another tip: A properly fitted cheek piece will permit one wrinkle in each corner of the horse's jaws.
Saddle Fitting: Fit is vital. According to veterinarian Dr. Joyce C. Harman: "The present design of saddles has been primarily for the comfort of the rider; riders want close contact with the horse, but in trying to achieve that, some manufacturers have removed most of the support the horse needs in the panels." We put the horse first. His comfort is paramount. The Tack Room knows about saddle fitting, and you can trust us with your horse’s comfort. At The Tack Room, we will happily let you take our saddles for a trial ride, to ensure you have chosen the right one for your beloved animal.
